Outside of the box facing the goal when a defender is in front of you, use this to change your direction before shooting :)

FOR LEFT FOOTED PLAYERS

When facing the goal, being left footed, you'd go to the right when you toe the forward, getting the defender out of the way of the goal for you to shoot, hope this helps :)
