Introduction:

Coach Stephen Buttigieg :

He is an Elementary Physical Education Teacher currently reading for an MBA in Sports Management. He has an "A" Basketball Coaching Licence in Malta and hold the posts of Youth Development Officer and Coaching Development Officer with the Malta Basketball Association.

He has been coaching basketball for twenty years, winning numerous National Championships in Malta at Youth Level and has coached several National Youth Teams. In 2001 he was appointed Technical Director of the 15th European Mini-Basketball Jamboree held in Dublin by FIBA Mini-Basketball. This apointment came after acting as Assistant Technical Director in the two previos Jamborees.

His Main interests are:
- Mini-Basketball as a child-centred activity.
- Youth Development.
- Coach development.
