Football is a popular sport and football tickets can be hard to get
Football is one of the most popular sports in America and it is still gaining in popularity every year, especially since many more people have come to follow football much more closely since the inception of fantasy football on the internet. Football is also the sport in America with the shortest season, with each team only playing 16 games in a season not including the playoffs. One of the problems with football though, at least for fans of certain teams, is that with only 16 games in a season it is tough to get football tickets unless you have season tickets that you own until you die, or if you have season tickets that have been passed down from the last generation or two of your family. Football tickets are not all hard to get since some teams play in much larger markets and have many more people that want to come and see their team’s game. There are many places where you can find football tickets being auctioned online, but many times you will end up paying quite a few extra dollars since the seller may be a scalper trying to make some extra money.
The hardest football tickets to get are always going to be playoff tickets, and especially Superbowl tickets, which are usually sold very early on since the Superbowl location each year is usually set a few years in advance and only the teams need to be determined each year throughout the season and the rest of the playoffs. Football tickets for the Superbowl may end up costing you thousands of dollars unless you buy them when they first announce the stadium a Superbowl will be at, the problem with this is you will have no clue who will be playing in that specific year since it will be predetermined over a year in advance. Another way to try and get tickets is to just go and tailgate the morning of the game and just walk around and mingle with other fellow fans of your favorite team, doing this you are bound to find someone that is there scalping the tickets so you will be paying more than the face value of the ticket.
