The San Antonio Spurs is one of the teams that people look out for every season after the disappearance of the Chicago Bulls from championship contention. The San Antonio Spurs has been constantly seen as a powerful and talented team and this is due to the team's recent rise to glory via their numerous division, conference and NBA championship success. These achievements by the San Antonio Spurs are not things that pass by unnoticed and people have indeed noticed. They are constantly watching to see what the team will do next and when they will bag another title.

The San Antonio Spurs has been constantly winning division and conference titles since 1978 however, the team made a huge impression on the millions of basketball fans worldwide with their 4 impressive Western Conference and NBA championship wins between 1999 and 2007. The San Antonio Spurs have been winning on and off but that does not mean that they are like the moon, waxing and waning. These days, with the huge number of outstanding players penetrating and joining the NBA and the different teams in the league, it stands to reason that the San Antonio Spurs has achieved quite a lot in their history.

The San Antonio Spurs have consistently won all the Finals that they entered into after every conference win. This is reflected in the record of the team. The Western Conference titles that they have were earned in 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2007. Their NBA Championship titles were also earned in 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2007. This shows that the team has been winning all the NBA Finals that it entered. The Spurs has yet to successfully defend an NBA Finals title though and might just do so in the coming season, if the team continues what has done in the past season.
